Located on a 20-acre campus, Springs Memorial has cared for Lancaster county citizens over 50 years. Special features include a Women’s and Children’s Center with a Level II nursery; emergency service with 24-hour physical coverage; in-house state-of-the-art radiology equipment; a high-level Intensive Care Unit; a sleep disorders clinic; a Regional Rehabilitation Center offering specialized rehabilitation for patients with neurological/orthopedic illnesses or injuries; and a Transitional Care Unit.

Additionally, Springs Memorial Hospital provides a number of other medical services, including lithotripsy, general surgery, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, pediatrics and urology. The eighth floor of the hospital houses a 10-bed coronary care unit and a fixed cardiac cath lab. In early 2005, the third phase of the eighth floor cardiovascular center will be complete. A 23-bed telemetry unit will expand the hospital’s ability to provide medical care for patients in need of cardiac monitoring.

Springs Memorial Hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, and is affiliated with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and the John Morrison White Clinic at USC Lancaster.
