Welcome to the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce. We are a private, non-profit organization with nearly 500 member businesses in Lancaster County and surrounding areas of the Piedmont. Our Mission is to represent our membership with the goal of improving the quality of life in Lancaster County. For ninety years, the Lancaster County Chamber has been the only full-time organization here dedicated to making Lancaster County a better place to live, work and do business.
Welcome to Lancaster County, a place where you really can “have it all.” Small town at heart, Lancaster is comfortably nestled between the metropolitan areas of Charlotte, North Carolina, 40 miles north, and South Carolina’s capital city of Columbia, about 60 miles south. Located centrally along the northern border of the state, Lancaster County covers 549 square miles and includes three incorporated communities. Bordered by the Catawba River and close to a number of lakes and waterways, Lancaster is just three hours from the North Carolina mountains to the northwest, and the beautiful shores of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to the southeast.
